Team Notes: Harvard Hosts Championship Weekend

Seventh-ranked Harvard, the No. 1 seed in the 26th annual ECAC
Women’s Hockey Tournament, will play Rensselaer in the first
semifinal game Saturday at 1 p.m. No. 8 St. Lawrence and No. 9
Dartmouth will face each other in the second semifinal game at 4
p.m., while the two winners will meet Sunday for the championship
game at 2 p.m.
Harvard is looking to grab its sixth ECAC Hockey tournament title
and is seeking the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA
tournament.
Last Time Out
During its ECAC Hockey quarterfinal series against Cornell,
Harvard outscored the Big Red, 7-0, earning back-to-back shutouts
Feb. 27-28 at Bright Hockey Center. In Game 1, Christina Kessler
made a career-high 36 saves, while Kathryn Farni, Jenny Brine and
Liza Ryabkina supplied the offense with goals.
