In addition to a college education and a wealth of hockey experiences, former Harvard women's ice hockey player and Team USA veteran Caitlin Cahow took a call to charity with her when she graduated.
Using the Angela Ruggiero Chowder Cup, to be held July 31 to Aug. 3 in Foxboro, Mass., as a backdrop, Cahow entered a team with the goal of raising money for breast cancer research.
Cahow will coach Team Celine, made up mostly of players with ties to Harvard, which will wear pink jerseys throughout the tournament and will also collect funds through a variety of other initiatives all aimed at raising awareness about breast cancer research.
