A Team-First Agenda: Sarah Vaillancourt

The list of accomplishments speak for themselves. The 2008 Patty
Kazmaier Memorial Award winner as the nation’s best player.
The 2008 ECAC Hockey, Ivy League and New England Hockey Writers
Player of the Year. Yet, Sarah Vaillancourt ’08-09 always
puts the team first.
Her favorite moment in a Crimson uniform so far does not revolve
around a single accomplishment or event, but the total experience
with her team during the 2007-08 season.
“Last year was like nothing I expected,” Vaillancourt
says. “We became a team from day one. It was amazing to see
all of the players on the team performing their roles perfectly and
stepping up.”
