Team Notes: Harvard Gets Started Against McGill

Harvard skates for the first time in 2008-09, hosting an exhibition game against McGill, the top-ranked team in Canadian women’s college hockey, in the Crimson’s final tuneup before the start of the regular season.

The Crimson and Martlets face off at Bright Hockey Center Saturday at 4 p.m.

Last Season
These two teams met for two exhibition contests last season. Harvard emerged with a 3-2 win in the first game on the strength of two goals by Sarah Vaillancourt and 14 saves by Christina Kessler. In game 2, Brittany Martin made 15 stops and Liza Ryabkina and Vaillancourt each contributed two goals for a 5-3 victory.
