Crimson Quartet Named to U.S. Under-22 Camp Roster

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- USA Hockey today announced the roster for the Women's Under-22 Camp, set to take place in Lake Placid, N.Y., from June 24-July 1. The 34 players will be vying for 22 spots on the 2008 U.S. Women's Under-22 Select Team, which will participate in the USA Hockey Women's National Festival in August, as well as compete against Canada in the Under-22 Series.

Four current Harvard players are among the 34 players invited to the Under-22 camp. Rising junior defensemen Cori Bassett (Anchorage, Alaska) and Kathryn Farni (Minnetonka, Minn.), rising sophomore forward Kate Buesser (Wolfeboro, N.H.) and rising junior forward Anna McDonald (New Brighton, Minn.) in Lake Placid.

Bassett played in all 34 games for the Crimson in 2007-08, scoring three goals and assisting on three other tallies. Farni, meanwhile, found the back of the net two times and collected five assists. Buesser scored 16 points in her rookie campaign, including six goals and 10 assists in 34 games, while McDonald had seven goals and eight assists for 15 points in 33 contests.
