Dartmouth women’s hockey goalie Lindsay Holdcroft ’14 has excelled in her first two seasons for the Big Green, posting impressive statistics as a rookie and anchoring a Dartmouth defense that ranks among the best in the Eastern College Athletic Conference this season. Despite her impressive statistics, however, Holdcroft remains quiet and modest, leading with her strong play if not a loud voice.
In Dartmouth’s 3-2 win over Harvard University last Wednesday — a game that Holdcroft said was “huge” and “exciting but nerve-racking” — the goalie notched 27 saves, helping Dartmouth to its third victory over a top-10 opponent this season.
In the pivotal game, Holdcroft made many “momentum-changing saves,” according to head coach Mark Hudak.
