Foley and Hudak Earn Region Honors
HANOVER, N.H. — The New England
Hockey Writers Association announced its 2010-11 Division I women's
hockey All-Star team and awards on Wednesday, and junior Kelly
Foley (Boston, Mass.) made the All-Star team and the Big
Green's Mark Hudak was named coach of the year.
The All-Star team was finalized after careful deliberation from a
panel of administrators and media throughout the region. Foley was
one of six forwards to make the team along with four defensemen and
two goaltenders. Foley finished the season with 17 goals (nine
power play goals) and 14 assists for 31 total points.
Hudak led Dartmouth to a 22-12 record and a berth in the NCAA
Tournament. The Big Green had a 10-win improvement over last
season's mark, and finished the year ranked eighth in the national
polls. Dartmouth finished third in the ECAC after being picked
eighth in the pre-season poll.
