Catching Up with Alyssa Boehm

HANOVER, N.H. — From warm sandy beaches to the hard cold ice of a rink, senior Alyssa Boehm (Waterford, Conn.) has experienced them both, and they are two of her biggest passions. Now, it may be hard to believe that summer fun and winter skating go hand-in-hand, but in the case of Boehm it fits perfectly.
Born in Florida, Boehm was a beach baby from the get go, and it continued even after she moved to Connecticut. She lived in Waterford, and even though the summers might not have been as long, she was still out on the water any chance she got.
"I really enjoy going sailing with my family," said Boehm. "It is one of the biggest things I like to do. I'm in to the beach and any type of activity that goes with it."
