Dartmouth women's hockey team heads back out on the road to face
Rensselaer and Union as the Big Green looks to build on its recent
success.
BIG HOME SWEEP FOR GREEN
The Dartmouth women’s hockey team is back in the playoff
hunt after sweeping away Ivy foes Yale and Brown in the final home
weekend of the season. On Friday, senior Sarah Toupal tallied a
career-high four points with two goals and two helpers to lead the
Big Green to a 6-3 win over the Bulldogs. Freshman Camille Dumais
tallied two goals for the second night in a row and senior
co-captain Sarah Parsons scored her 150th career point in a 4-2 win
over the Bears on Saturday.
BACK IN THE HUNT
With a much needed home sweep and the all important four points in
the standings, Dartmouth stands in the eighth spot in ECAC Hockey.
The league only accepts the top eight teams and the Big Green is
currently tied with Yale with 15 points. However, Dartmouth owns
the tie-breaker with two wins over the Bulldogs this season.
