Team Notes: Conference Push for Big Green Begins

The following article appeared January 6 on the Dartmouth Web site.

HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth women's hockey team jumps back into conference play for the first time since November and will look to improve its standing as the Big Green travel south this weekend to face Quinnipiac and Princeton.

SALVAGING A TIE AT UCONN
The Dartmouth women’s hockey team continued its up and down ways this past weekend as the Big Green managed only a tie in the two-game set at UConn. Dartmouth has won two-straight games only once this season, but remains without a two-game losing streak. The bright side is that the Big Green is back to scoring on the power play with three tallies over the weekend and six in its last three games.

TOP BLUELINE DUO
Freshman Sasha Nanji and sophomore Geneva Kliman have been paired on the blueline more than any other defensive duo. They have played together for 11 of the 14 games so far this season. The pair is an amazing +17 together, with Kliman leading the way with a +9 rating, which is also tops on the Big Green.
