Team Notes: Dartmouth Returns to the Road
The following article appeared November 18 on the Dartmouth Web site.
HANOVER, N.H. - After a pair of home weekend series, the
Dartmouth women's hockey team will take to the road at Yale and
Brown as the Big Green looks for its first weekend sweep.
LOOKING FOR FIRST WEEKEND SWEEP
Entering this weekend, Dartmouth is still looking for a two-game
sweep after splitting the last two weekends at home. The Big
Green’s schedule gets a little easier as Dartmouth will not
be facing a nationally-ranked squad in the next two games. Three of
the last four have come against ranked teams and if No. 7 Cornell
(who wasn’t ranked at the time of the Oct. 30 game) was
included, the Big Green has faced four ranked opponents in its
first seven games.
IN NEED OF BACK-TO-BACK WINS
This is the longest the Big Green has gone into a season without
back-to-back wins since the 1990-91 season when the team started
2-5, but went on to win the Ivy League Championship with a 19-7-0
record.
