Dartmouth Spreads Cheer Through Holiday Helpers

HANOVER, N.H. - Four Dartmouth Big Green teams took time out of their busy schedules to help local families during the holiday season with gifts and a visit to a Big Green athletic event.
Women's soccer, field hockey, women's hockey, women's volleyball and Kappa Delta Epsilon sorority each sponsored an Upper Valley family. All five groups spent two weeks fund raising. The money collected was then given back to the groups who shopped for their families based on wish lists that were provided from each family member. The teams spent an afternoon at Kohl's department store in West Lebanon, N.H., and were given a discount from the store's employees on the purchases made.
