Team Notes: Dartmouth Continues Homestand

HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth women's hockey team will play its
final home games of the month this weekend as 10th-ranked Princeton
and Quinnipiac visit Hanover for a pair of key showdowns for the
Big Green.
HOME COOKING
The Big Green will be back at Thompson Arena for the second
straight weekend with No. 10 Princeton and Quinnipiac coming to
Hanover. Dartmouth went 1-1 in its first home weekend and will be
facing its third ranked opponent in the last three games on Friday
night with the Tigers. The Big Green is in unfamiliar territory
because recently Dartmouth has seen success in home opening
weekends with a 7-1 mark dating back to 2005. Last season, the Big
Green beat fourth-ranked Boston College in the home opener and
out-scored Union and Rensselaer 11-1 in the next two. Dartmouth
will look for this trend to continue this weekend.
DUMAIS ON THE POWER PLAY
Freshman forward Camille Dumais has made her impact felt on a
power play that has had its problems early on in the season. Dumais
helped the Big Green capitalize on two of its 10 opportunities with
the man advantage. The first came in the second period to tie the
game at 2-2 as she hooked up with rookies Sasha Nanji and Sally
Komarek. The second came as insurance in the third with 9:15
remaining as Komarek and junior Katie Horner helped seal the deal.
