Team Notes: Dartmouth Set for Championship Weekend

HANOVER, N.H. -- The ninth-ranked Dartmouth women's hockey team
will be making its third-straight appearance at the ECAC Hockey
Championship this weekend as the Big Green take on eighth-ranked
St. Lawrence in the semifinals on Saturday afternoon at Harvard's
Bright Hockey Center.
The weekend kicks off on Friday night at the Murr Center on
Harvard's campus for the annual awards banquet at 7 p.m. The games
start on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. as top-seeded Harvard takes
on the sixth-seeded Engineers of Rensselaer. The fourth-seeded Big
Green face-off against the second-seeded Saints at 4 p.m. Once
again B2 Networks will be broadcasting each game at championship
weekend.
LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green advanced to the ECAC Hockey Semifinals by taking the
third and deciding game from Colgate, winning the series 2-1.
Dartmouth dropped its first overtime game of the season in game one
as the Raiders took the series lead with a 7-6 win. The Big Green
fired back with a 2-1 win, followed by a 7-3 drubbing in the final
game. Junior Sarah Parsons provided the highlights in the series
with five goals, including a hat trick in game one, and two assists
for seven points.
