Spotlight on Carrie Thompson

The following article featuring Dartmouth forward Carrie Thompson appeared February 11 on the Dartmouth Athletics Web site.

A team player is one who displays a strong commitment to the common team goal and will contribute in any way to build a successful team. Over the past four years senior Carrie Thompson has been one of those players that does everything for the Dartmouth women's hockey team both on and off the ice.

In addition to being a senior leader on the Big Green, Thompson has become the team organizer as she has the tendency to set up all the team gatherings.

"I have organized cookie frosting events and a Christmas party where we made gingerbread houses," said Thompson. "I like to do things like that because I think it really helps our team. Our team likes to do things together that are not hockey related."
