In collegiate athletics, senior seasons are when athletes step
up and make significant contributions and for senior defenseman
Katie Gray her final season has already been a memorable one.
Gray enters this weekend against Cornell and Colgate tied for
second on the team with three goals and is also tied with fellow
blueliner Julia Bronson with four points to lead the defensive
unit. She posted the first two-goal game of her career against
Union in a 6-1 win and followed that with another score against
Rensselaer in the 5-0 shutout win.
“Katie has been one of our most steady defenders in her four
years,” said head coach Mark Hudak. “These will be some
big shoes/skates to fill after her graduation.”
