Well, we’re finally in Erie! Had practice in the morning, did some last minute homework, packed up all of our gear, food, and necessary supplies and hit the road! The bus ride was pretty short, only four hours. We watched The Hangover, and Monster-in-Law. Once we got to Erie, we checked in to our hotel, got unpacked and hung around for a bit, then headed to Tullio Arena to unpack our equipment. The bus ride to the rink is a good 20-25 minutes. Most people seem pretty happy about this because before games that leaves time for a good four-five songs on our iPods. Just enough time to get psyched and ready to play! Once we got to the arena we unloaded our equipment. The arena is right beside the Seahawks’ baseball field, so our locker room is the visiting locker room. It’s big, everyone has their own stall, and it’s nice and clean (always a plus!). After unpacking our equipment, we went out to check out the ice surface. The Frozen Four logo is at center ice, and the boards are covered with NCAA logos and the four team names (Boston College, Boston University, Wisconsin and Cornell).
