Cornell Can be Proud of a Special Season

ITHACA - The loss unquestionably still stings. But the pain and disappointment of Cornell women's hockey team's triple overtime loss in the national championship game Sunday shouldn't be overshadowed by the strides the Big Red made this season.
Cornell,
picked to finish seventh in its own league, enjoyed a Cinderella
postseason run and came within a bounce of the first NCAA women's
title of any kind in school history.
Jessica Wong's goal with 33.6 seconds left in triple overtime gave Minnesota-Duluth the national title, but did little to diminish what the Big Red accomplished this season.
