Riding High, Cornell Takes to the Road

After a historic weekend of sweeping two Ancient Eight rivals, the
women’s hockey team prepares to hit the road this weekend to
face two non-Ivy teams. Friday afternoon the Red (2-2, 2-0) will
meet at Union’s Messa Rink at 3 p.m. to take on the
Dutchwomen (2-6), followed by a 2:30 p.m. match the following day
at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (2-5-3).
Coming off of its last two matches, the Red is definitely in high
spirits.
“It was unbelievable to beat both Dartmouth and
Harvard,” said senior forward Melanie Jue. “We were
able to prove ourselves as a force to be reckoned with.”
