Team Notes: Raiders Conclude Regular Season at Union, RPI

HAMILTON, N.Y. -- The Colgate University women’s hockey
team concludes the regular season and looks to gain ground in the
ECAC Playoff picture at Union and Rensselaer, Feb. 20-21. The
Raiders will face off with the Dutchwomen on Friday at 7 p.m., and
with the Engineers on Saturday at 4 p.m.
Colgate sports a 17-11-3 overall record, 11-6-3 in ECAC Hockey
after a weekend split with Dartmouth (2-1) and Harvard (1-2).
Leading the Raiders up front is senior Sam Hunt (Calgary, Alta.)
with a team-high 27 points. Hunt has 12 goals and 15 assists.
Junior Katie Stewart (Exeter, Ont.) has 23 points while
junior’s Beth Rotenberg (Toronto, Ont.) and Marissa Dombovy
(Webster, N.Y.) each have 22. Stewart leads the team in goals with
13 while Hunt has 12 and junior Evan Minnick (Highlands Ranch,
Colo.) 11. Senior Kiira Dosdall (Fairfield, Conn.) leads in assists
with a school record for a defenseman 19. Dosdall headlines the
defenders with 23 points off four goals and 19 assists while
classmate Clancy Todd (Thorold, Ont.) has 16 and freshman Amanda
Kirwan (Mississauga, Ont.) seven.
Colgate has rotated two goaltenders; sophomore Lisa Plenderleith
(Ajax, Ont.), and freshman Kimberly Sass (East Amherst, N.Y.).
Plenderleith is 4-5 with a 3.26 GAA and a .883 save percentage,
while Sass, the ECAC Freshman of the Week, is 12-5-3 with a 2.03
GAA with a .937 save percentage. Both goaltenders have recorded one
shutout this season.
