Colgate Faces Off Against Cancer

HAMILTON, N.Y. -- In conjunction with Pink at the Rink, the
Colgate men’s and women’s hockey teams will host a
“face-off against cancer”, the weekends of February
13-14 and February 20-21.
Fans, alums, staff, and students will have the opportunity to
donate either a flat amount of money for the two weekends, or
donate a set amount of money per face-off wins for all four games.
Colgate men are averaging a shade over 29 face-off wins per game to
date, while the women’s team is posting 28 face-off wins per
outing.
Fans can download a pledge drive form from the bottom of this
release, or fill out the form at the rink. Fans not attending the
games that wish to make a donation to the cause can send in the
form along with a check made out to Colgate Hockey in care of
Michelle Reese, Colgate University, Reid Athletic Center, Hamilton,
N.Y. 13346.
