Hunt is one of 15 returning players from the 2007-08 undefeated National Women's Under-22 Team. The squad finished 7-0, marking the first perfect season in the history of the under-22 program.

The camp roster features a total of seven League standouts, including Hunt. Other League standouts are: goaltenders Christina Kessler (Harvard) and Kristen Young (Princeton); defensemen Brittaney Maschmeyer (St. Lawrence) and Britni  Smith (St. Lawrence); and forwards Sam Hunt (Colgate) and Rebecca Johnston (Cornell).

A total of 40 players will participate in the camp that will take place August 10-17 at York University in Toronto. The camp will split the 40 players into two teams, Red and White, which will compete with a team of Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) all-stars in a series of games.

Hockey Canada will use the camp to select 22 players for a three-game series against the USA Women's Under-22 Select Team in Pierrefonds, Quebec. The selections will be made immediately at the end of the camp. Practice for the series with USA will begin on August 18 in Pierrefonds.
