An unselfish team player, Danielle Boudreau has emerged as a steady defenseman for the Golden Knights after beginning her career at Clarkson as a forward. Boudreau was the recipient of Clarkson’s Ron Frazer Award last season, presented to a player who has proven to elevate her game in key situations and who has made significant contributions to the team’s success. As a sophomore in 2009-10, the Whitby, Ontario native was honored as Clarkson’s Coaches Award winner. The Knights’ assistant captain, Boudreau has helped to lead the Green and Gold to a 10-4-4 overall record entering this weekend’s non-league games at Niagara. The Knights are in second place in the ECAC Hockey standings with a 6-3-1 league mark.
