Weekend Update: Timely Goals Spark Wins
ALBANY, N.Y. - Clutch scoring to give leads, send games into
overtime, and propel a team to victory in an extra session were the
story of the night in ECAC Women’s Ice Hockey play last
evening.

*Big Green sophomore forward Ali Winkel more than doubled her
career point total on her first career hat-trick.
*With two first-line forwards and the top defensive pairing
competing in the Four Nations Cup in Sweden with the Canadian
National Team, Cornell was forced to dress 13 skaters, use just
three natural defensemen, and play forwards on the blue line to
help defense.

the fewest in one game for the Big Red this season.

all three victories coming on the road against conference
opponents.
*Harvard has only surrendered two goals in three games (0.67G/GM),

At St. Lawrence 4, Princeton 1
*Four different players scored goals and sophomore goaltender

neither team (SLU 0-for-5; Princeton 0-for-6) scored on the
power-play.
