2011-12 All-Academic Team Comprises 155 Student-Athletes
ALBANY, N.Y. - One hundred fifty-five student-athletes
representing the ECAC Hockey’s 12 women’s programs were
named to the 2011-12 ECAC Hockey All-Academic team. Ninety-one of
this year’s student-athletes were also named to the team last
year, 49 have the distinction of receiving the honor the last three
seasons and 20 received the recognition over the last four years.
Of the 12 institutions, Union and Yale lead the way with 16
honorees, followed by Dartmouth with 15, and Brown, Clarkson,
Cornell, and Quinnipiac with 14 each.
Players are eligible for the All-Academic team if they earn a
cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale
or have a GPA over 3.00 over the past three semesters.
