CAMBRIDGE, MA- Host Harvard got goals from four different players as they defeated the visiting Dutchwomen 4-0 on Saturday afternoon at Bright Hockey Center.
Union could not sustain an offensive rhythm in the game as the
Crimson out shot them 31-10.
The Dutchwomen did not have a power play opportunity as
Harvard did not commit a penalty during the game. Union
committed three and the Crimson were 1-for-3 on the
advantage.
Alana
Marcinko started in goal for Union and made just two
saves in 8:47 of playing time and gave up two goals. She was
replaced in the first period by Kate
Gallagher who made 25 saves and also gave up two
goals. Laura Bellamy had 10 saves for Harvard.
Union continues ECAC road action with a game next Friday night
at Cornell at 7 pm.
