2010 Frozen Four Skills Challenge Tickets on Sale
INDIANAPOLIS -- The NCAA announced ticket sales for the 2010
Frozen Four Skills Challenge began January 22, and online voting
for the selection of players will begin February 1 at
www.NCAA.com.
Tickets can be purchased for $10 by visiting the Ford Field box
office, calling Ticketmaster at 800/745-3000, or by logging on to
www.ncaa.com/frozenfour.
The Frozen Four Skills Challenge will be held April 9 at Ford
Field in Detroit at 8 p.m. and will highlight the "Friday Night at
the Frozen Four". The night will also include an autograph session
with the two teams playing in the finals from 5:15 - 6:15 p.m., the
presentation of the Hockey Humanitarian Award at 6:30 p.m., the
Hobey Baker Memorial Award at 7 p.m., and the announcement of the
American Hockey Coaches Association All-American teams at 7:30
p.m.
For the Skills Challenge voting, fans will be able to select six
position players and two goalies for each gender of the East team
and each gender of the West team. The original list of 140 players
was trimmed to 75 by the selection committee. Fans can vote for
their favorites among the 75 players, which are vying for the 16
spots on each team. The selection committee will take all voting
into consideration prior to making its announcement of the final
rosters by the end of February.
