Vote to See Your Favorite ECAC Hockey Standout at the Frozen Four Skills Challenge

INDIANPOLIS -- Nine League standouts are among 17 candidates being considered as East squad representatives to compete in the NCAA Frozen Four Skills Challenge April 9 in Detroit. To aid in the selection process, fans can vote for their favorite ECAC Hockey student-athlete via the NCAA Web site.

League candidates include:

Brittony Chartier, goaltender, St. Lawrence
Alyssa Clarke, forward, Yale
Janine Duffy, forward, Quinnipiac
Carlee Eusepi, defenseman, Clarkson
Jackie Koetteritz, forward, Union
Anna McDonald, forward, Harvard
Sarah Parsons, forward, Dartmouth
Britni Smith, defenseman, St. Lawrence
Allison Wright, forward, Rensselaer

Voting is underway now and will continue until February 15. The selection committee will take all voting into consideration prior to making its announcement of the final rosters by the end of February. Nine League standouts are among the nominees for the women's East squad.

The Frozen Four Skills Challenge will be held April 9 at Ford Field and will highlight the "Friday Night at the Frozen Four" event. The night will also include the presentation of the Hobey Baker Memorial Award, the Hockey Humanitarian Award and the announcement of the American Hockey Coaches Association All-America teams.
