POTSDAM, NY -- A pair of late scores and another solid effort in goal by junior Lauren Dahm (Baldwinsville, NY) lifted the third-ranked Clarkson University Women's Hockey team past a stubborn Yale University squad 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Cheel Arena.

The Golden Knights, who have won five straight including two consecutive shutouts, improved their record to 9-1-1 overall and remain perfect in the ECAC Hockey standings with a 3-0-0 league mark. Unbeaten at home with an 8-0-1 slate at Cheel, the Green and Gold play 12 of their next 14 games on the road, beginning with next weekend's key conference matchups at Harvard and Dartmouth.

Similar to Friday's 1-0 triumph over Brown, Clarkson dominated its opponent on the short chart on Saturday, out shooting Yale (0-2-1, 0-2-0) 38-17, but did not score until late in the contest.

Senior assistant captain Carlee Eusepi (Oakville, ONT) was finally able to get a shot past Yale's goaltender Jackee Snikeris midway through the third. Picking up a pass from freshman Danielle Skirrow (Trenton, ONT), Eusepi connected on a shot from the right point, which found its way through traffic in front, for her second goal of the season, the game-winner at 11:59.

Clarkson's captain Britney Selina (Thornhill, ONT) sealed the victory with a power-play marker off assists from senior Dominique Thibault (L'Original, ONT) and junior Melissa Waldie (Newmarket, ONT) with 4:41 remaining. Selina, the Knights' all-time leading scorer, tallied from the left circle just 20 seconds into the Green and Gold's fifth power play of the game for her fifth goal of the season.

Dahm, a three-time ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week in October, turned aside all 17 Yale shots for her fourth shutout in the first 11 games this season and her 14th career whitewash. Snikeris finished with 36 stops for the Bulldogs.

Both teams had five power-play opportunities, with Clarkson connecting once with the man-advantage.
