National Rankings Feature Saints, Big Green
ALBANY, N.Y. -- The League's top two teams, St. Lawrence and Dartmouth, represent ECAC Hockey in the latest national polls, earning top-10 slots in both polls.
St. Lawrence, which leads the league with a mark of 11-1-1, continued to hold position at No. 4 in both the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll (125 points) and USCHO.com poll (93 points). The Saints (17-5-3 overall) enjoyed a 3-0 record last week, defeating Clarkson (2-1), Union (4-1) and Rensselaer (5-3). St. Lawrence has won five consecutive contests.
Dartmouth (12-6-2 overall, 9-3-2 in ECAC Hockey) holds the No. 9
position in both polls, tallying 49 points in the USA Today/USA
Hockey Magazine poll and 30 points in the USCHO.com poll. The Big
Green were idle last week.

ABOUT THE POLLS:
The 12th annual USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey Poll is conducted each week in conjunction with the American Hockey Coaches Association. The poll includes input from coaches and journalists representing each of the six NCAA Division I ice hockey conferences, as well as composite votes from officers of the American Hockey Coaches Association and USA Hockey Magazine, the most widely distributed hockey magazine in the world.
The USCHO.com Poll is compiled weekly and consists of 15 voters, including 12 coaches of Division I programs and three women's hockey writers. USCHO.com provides in-depth coverage of college sports, including hockey, lacrosse, soccer and others.
