Tigers Win Fifth Straight
HAMDEN, Conn. -- The Princeton women's hockey
team shook off the rust from a 17-day layoff with a 2-1 win at
Quinnipiac on Tuesday night. Senior Christine
Foster and freshman Charissa

tie in the ECAC standings with eight league games remaining.
Following a scoreless opening period in which the Tigers ousthot
their travel partner 13-7, the Tigers jumped ahead with a pair of
second period goals. Foster opened the scoring with an unassisted

relinquish. The goal was her fourth of the season.
The Tigers added what turned out to be the game-winning goal three
minutes later when Stadnyk added her fifth goal of the season and
her second goal in as many games. The goal was assisted by freshmen
Heather
Landry and Julie
Johnson. All three skaters recorded their 10th points of the season
on the goal, becoming the seventh, eighth and ninth players on the
team to reach double digits this season.

power play with four minutes left, but the Bobcats could get no
closer.
