ALBANY, NY  --  As the season winds down five teams (Harvard, St. Lawrence, Clarkson, Dartmouth, and Princeton) have clinched a playoff spot in postseason action.  Harvard and St. Lawrence have also clinched home-ice, but the two remaining home-ice spots are still up for grabs.  All 12 teams are in action this weekend in league play celebrating the final weekend of Pink at the Rink and Senior Nights.

No. 1 Harvard/Dartmouth at Princeton/Quinnipiac:  For the fourth consecutive week, Harvard claimed the No. 1 spot in the national rankings.  After capturing their 12th Beanpot title, the top-ranked Crimson will look to win their fifth ECAC Hockey regular-season championship.  Harvard needs one point over its last four games to clinch and will look to extend its 12-game winning streak as it visits Princeton and Quinnipiac this weekend.  Harvard has maintained a stout defense all season only surrendering 0.61 G/GM in league action.  The Big Green, who have been in and out of the national polls all season clinched a spot in the ECAC Hockey playoffs last weekend, will also take on the Bobcats and the Tigers this weekend.  Dartmouth holds a 4-0-1 advantage all-time advantage over Quinnipiac, while Princeton holds 36-25-4 advantage, but the Big Green have won the last three meetings.  Princeton enters the final home weekend of the season unbeaten in seven games (6-0-1) and 8-1-3 in its last 12 games.  The Tigers currently sit fifth in the ECAC Hockey standings, with an eye on a top-four finish and home-ice for the first round of the playoffs.  Quinnipiac will look to build on its three point effort from last weekend, where 10 different Bobcats notched at least one point.  Facing two explosive offenses this weekend Bobcats' freshman netminder Tia Wishart had a fitting tune-up last week stopping 50 shots in consecutive games.

Yale/Brown at No. 6 St. Lawrence/No. 9 Clarkson:  Clarkson finds itself in a solid position to finish among the top four teams in the ECAC Hockey standings and earn a home-ice berth for the quarterfinal round of the upcoming league playoffs.  The Golden Knights will take on Yale and Brown this weekend at Cheel Arena where they have an 8-2-3 mark this season.  Look for Clarkson to maintain its disciplined play, as they are the least penalized team in college hockey, averaging just 7.7 minutes per contest.  North Country partner St. Lawrence will also welcome Brown and Yale to Appleton Arena for two conference match-ups this weekend.  The Saints continue to find the back of the net, as they are the only ECAC Hockey team to be averaging 4.00 G/GM or better in league games this season.  Senior captain Hayley Moore will direct the Bears' offense.  Moore has at least one point in 14 of her last 16 games (11-13-24) after tallying just one goal in Brown's first eight contests.  She either leads the Bears or is tied for the team lead in points (25), goals (12), assists (13), and power-play goals (4).  The next two weekends are crucial for Yale, as it could wind up anywhere from fourth (hosting a playoff series) to ninth (out of the playoffs entirely).

Colgate/Cornell at Union/Rensselaer:  Cornell and Colgate make its annual trip to the Capital District to take on Union and Rensselaer.  The Raiders can clinch one of the three remaining playoff spots with one win this weekend.  Junior forward Sam Hunt leads the Raiders in scoring with a team-best 16 goals and 12 assists for 28 points.  She is just one point away from reaching the 100 point-plateau, and will become just the third player in Colgate's Division I history to attain status in the Century Club.  The Big Red will be making their final road trip of the season as it clings to the final playoff spot.  They are one of five teams that are vying for the last three spots.  Union will be playing in its final home series of the year as it honors its senior class.  The Engineers are just one point out of eighth-place in the league standings for a postseason bid.  Should RPI make the playoffs it will be on the road.
