League Trio Continues Poll Presence
Complete poll can be accessed by clicking here.COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - St. Lawrence, Harvard and Dartmouth continued to hold positions among the nation's elite as they garnered spots in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey Poll released October 9.
St. Lawrence, which split a pair of contests with New Hampshire last weekend, moved up one spot to No. 3 in the latest poll. The Saints compiled 134 points.
Harvard claimed the No. 7 spot in the poll, accumulating 85 points. The Crimson open regular-season play November 2 when they host Quinnipiac.
Dartmouth, which opens regular-season competition October 26 against Vermont at Thompson Arena, garnered spot No. 9 in the poll. The Big Green totaled 24 points.
ABOUT THE POLL: The 11th annual USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey Poll is conducted each week in conjunction with the American Hockey Coaches Association. The poll includes input from coaches and journalists representing each of the six NCAA Division I ice hockey conferences, as well as composite votes from officers of the American Hockey Coaches Association and USA Hockey Magazine, the most widely distributed hockey magazine in the world.
