St. Lawrence and Harvard Maintain National Rankings

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - St. Lawrence and Harvard continued to impress on a national level as both teams maintained slots in the latest USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey poll, released October 30.
St. Lawrence, fresh off a league weekend sweep of Quinnipiac and Princeton, jumped two spots to the No. 4 position. The Saints defeated Quinnipiac by a margin of 6-1 and Princeton by a 3-1 score. The Saints improved their record to 4-2-1 with the weekend sweep.
Harvard, which occupies the No. 6 slot in this week's rankings, opens regular-season play this weekend when it plays host to Quinnipiac and Princeton.
ABOUT THE POLL: The 11th annual USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey Poll is conducted each week in conjunction with the American Hockey Coaches Association. The poll includes input from coaches and journalists representing each of the six NCAA Division I ice hockey conferences, as well as composite votes from officers of the American Hockey Coaches Association and USA Hockey Magazine, the most widely distributed hockey magazine in the world.
