St. Lawrence, Harvard and Dartmouth Maintain National Rankings
Complete poll can be accessed by clicking here.COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The latest national poll, released October 16, once again contains a strong League presence as St. Lawrence, Harvard and Dartmouth continued to hold positions among the nation's elite as they garnered spots in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey Poll released October 16.
All three teams were idle the weekend of October 12-14.
St. Lawrence, which sports a 1-1 overall record, ranks No. 4 in the poll, receiving 135 total points.
Harvard jumped one spot to No. 6 in this week's poll, registering 92 total points. The Crimson open regular-season play November 2 when they host Quinnipiac.
Dartmouth, which opens regular-season competition October 26 against Vermont at Thompson Arena, ranks No. 9 in the poll. The Big Green totaled 38 points.
ABOUT THE POLL: The 11th annual USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey Poll is conducted each week in conjunction with the American Hockey Coaches Association. The poll includes input from coaches and journalists representing each of the six NCAA Division I ice hockey conferences, as well as composite votes from officers of the American Hockey Coaches Association and USA Hockey Magazine, the most widely distributed hockey magazine in the world.
