Guillemette, Dunlop and Grandmont-Berube Earn League Accolades

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Rensselaer junior defenseman Melanie Guillemette (North Bay, Ont.) and freshman forward Kendra Dunlop (Granum, Alberta), and Clarkson freshman goaltender Eve Grandmont-Berube (Drummondville, Que.) were honored as the season's first player, rookie and goaltender of the week, respectively, Tuesday by ECAC Hockey.

Guillemette led the Engineers to a weekend sweep of visiting North Dakota. The North Bay, Ontario native, tallied two goals, including a game-winner, and an assist for three points in the two contests. She finished the weekend plus-1 with seven shots on goal.

Dunlop, like Guillemette, amassed three points over the weekend on the strength of two goals and an assist. The freshman forward was a plus-3 with seven shots on goal.

Grandmont-Berube began the weekend by posting a second straight shutout with 20 saves in a 2-0 win over Niagara Friday. The Drummondville, Quebec native, followed that performance with 17 saves in a 2-2 overtime tie versus the Purple Eagles. She recorded a save percentage of .967 in the two games.
