Donald Returns to Reading
READING, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that former Yale defenseman Ryan Donald has been assigned by the Boston Bruins from the Providence Bruins to Reading.
Donald, a first year pro who hails from St. Albert, Alberta, was recalled to Providence from Reading on December 30, 2010, and played in three games for the P-Bruins without registering any points or penalty minutes In 28 games with the Royals this year, Donald has registered six points (2g-4a) and picked up 52 penalty minutes, while playing to a plus-10 (+10).
