Bulldogs Back to League Grind
NEW HAVEN — Keith Allain spent most
of his Thursday morning trekking back from Buffalo, N.Y., where he
coached the U.S. to a bronze medal at the World Junior
Championships — the prestigious tournament won by the Russian
team which made headlines for being kicked off its return flight
home Thursday.
Allain made it back to New Haven just as Yale was finishing up its
afternoon practice, boarded the team bus for the trip to Dartmouth
and, before long, was fast asleep.
While Allain might be a little bleary-eyed, the top-ranked
Bulldogs are rested and anxious to get back to action for this
weekend’s ECAC Hockey series at Dartmouth (Friday, 7
p.m.) and Harvard (Saturday, 7 p.m.).
