Donald Returns to Reading
READING, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that former Yale defenseman Ryan Donald has been assigned to the Royals from the Providence Bruins of the AHL.
This marks the third time that Donald, a first-year pro from St. Albert, Alberta, has been assigned to Reading. In 45 games with the Royals, he has registered 12 points (3g-9a) and 101 penalty minutes, while playing to a team leading plus-19 (+19). In 13 games with the P-Bruins this year, Donald picked up two points (0g-2a) and 13 penalty minutes.
