Higgins Aims to Reignite Career in Vancouver

VANCOUVER — When the hockey isn't as good as it should be, or when he needs inspiration, Chris Higgins thinks about his dad, Robert, a New York City firefighter, and his younger brother, Kevin, a Big Apple cop.
Chances are, Higgins has been thinking about them a lot lately.
"It certainly does put things in perspective," the new Vancouver Canucks winger said Wednesday. "I am obviously very proud of both of them. It's probably something I would look to do if I didn't play hockey."
