Rondeau Signs with Laredo
LAREDO, TX -- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League announced Tuesday that they have signed former Yale goaltender Ryan Rondeau for the 2011-12 season.
Ryan Rondeau is 25 years old from Carvel, Alberta. He played the previous four seasons at Yale University. While playing for Yale, the team won the NCAA (ECAC) Championship in 2008-2009.
The 6'0", 174 pound goalie appeared in 34 games last season. While in net Rondeau had a 1.92 goals against average and a .928 save percentage. He was briefly called up to the Adirondack Phantoms (AHL) last season.
“Ryan was at the top of the list in all categories for
goaltenders in the NCAA D1 last year,” says Head Coach Serge
Dube. “His hard work in practice will make the team
better and I am fully confident putting him in net against any
opponent.”
