WORCESTER – Two weeks ago, when Yale was stunningly ushered
out of the ECAC Hockey tournament by lowly Brown in the
quarterfinals, coach Keith Allain wasn’t looking for silver
linings.
But by the eve of the NCAA tournament, he’d found one.
The third-seeded Bulldogs (20-9-3) have a tough task Saturday in the Northeast Regional when they square off against second-seeded North Dakota (25-12-5). When the puck drops, it will have been 13 days since they last played a game.
