Stockton Gains Services of Arcobello
STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers and San Jose Sharks, announced today the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League have assigned rookie center Mark Arcobello, a former Yale standout, to the Thunder.
Arobello, 22, previously skated in 131 career games through four seasons (2006-10) in college with Yale University, scoring 116 points (49g-67a) and posting 203 penalty minutes.
Finishing over a point-per-game average in his final two seasons, the 5-foot-9, 165-pound pivot was named second-team All-Ivy last season with a career-high 36 points (15g-21a) in 34 games as a 2009-10 senior. He led the program in scoring as a 2008-09 junior, racking up 35 points (17g-18a) and a career-high 17 goals in 34 games
