Yaworski to Showcase Skills in Finland
Former Yale standout Blair Yaworski has inked a try-out agreement with KooKoo (Finland), the team announced Monday.
Yaworski appeared in 62 games with Wheeling of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) in 2009-10. He posted 31 points, including 14 goals.
Yaworski broke into the professional ranks in 2008-09, spending 41 games with the Johnstown Chiefs (ECHL). In 41 games, Yaworski tallied 31 points (18 goals). He also appeared in 18 games with the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League (AHL).
From 2004-08, the native of Calgary, Alberta played four seasons with Yale, recording 49 points (14 goals) in 113 games played.
