BRIDGEPORT -- Of all the college hockey players participating in
the NCAA East Regionals today, Yale forward Mark Arcobello is
perhaps the only one who can truly call the Arena at Harbor Yard
home.
Arcobello grew up in Milford, a mere nine miles and six exits away
on Interstate 95. He starred at Fairfield Prep, which plays its
home games at the Wonderland of Ice, just two exits away on Route
25/8. And, of course, he's seen plenty of Bridgeport Sound Tigers
games there.
But when the two-time high school state champion and Connecticut
Post All-Star glides onto the Arena ice with his Yale teammates, it
will be for the first time in the Greater Bridgeport native's life.
