GREENBURGH, N.Y. – Christopher Higgins surely was hoping
for better circumstances in his first trip back to Montreal with
the Rangers.
"No better place to turn things around than up there," said
Higgins — who grew up a Canadiens fan on Long Island —
after practice Friday.
The Rangers face the Canadiens tonight — their first chance
this season to play against Scott Gomez as well as defenseman Paul
Mara — and Higgins will bring an eight-game pointless streak
into the game.
