ALBANY — Two games defined the ECAC Hockey regular
season for Yale and Cornell.
For Yale, a come-from-behind victory started a roll toward the
regular-season title. For Cornell, a loss at home hurt its chances
of finishing first.
The Bulldogs (22-7-2) earned the top seed in the ECAC Hockey
tournament when they rallied from a 4-0 deficit to beat Colgate,
5-4,
Jan. 24 at Starr Rink. The Big Red (20-8-4) saw a 1-0 lead against
Princeton turn into a 2-1 loss when the Tigers scored in an
18-second span in the final minute of a Feb. 7 game at Lynah Rink.
