Bridgeport Calls Upon Dwyer

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah -- Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Jason Christie announced today that former Yale defenseman Jeff Dwyer has been recalled to the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

The Grizzlies are the proud ECHL affiliate of the Sound Tigers and the NHL's New York Islanders.

Playing in all 43 games for Utah this season, Dwyer has tallied two goals and 10 assists.

Dwyer has played 21 previous AHL games in three stints with the Chicago Wolves from 2003-2006.

The Grizzlies have now had 14 players this season who have also been members of the Sound Tigers.

The Grizzlies return to action tonight, Friday and Saturday hosting Alaska at the E-Center. Face-off all three nights is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
