
Dwyer Returns to Utah
FRESNO, CA -- Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Jason Christie announced that former Yale defenseman Jeff Dwyer has returned to the team from the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Dwyer was listed on the Grizzlies playoff roster released Monday. Utah opens their first round best-of-seven series in Fresno.
The Grizzlies are a proud affiliate of the Sound Tigers and the NHL's New York Islanders.
Dwyer, played 17 playoff games in 2005-2006 with the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators before losing to the Alaska Aces in the Kelly Cup Finals. This year, he appeared in 56 games with Utah and 8 for the Sound Tigers.
Utah has now had seven players assigned from the Islanders organization in the last two weeks as they get ready for their second playoff run in three years.
