
Dwyer Promoted to Bridgeport
WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah -- Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director
of Hockey Operations Jason Christie announced today former Yale
defenseman Jeff Dwyer has been promoted to the AHL's Bridgeport
Sound Tigers.
Dwyer has logged time with the Sound Tigers already this season and
also had previous AHL experience prior to this year.
The Grizzlies are the proud ECHL affiliate of the Sound Tigers and
the NHL's New York Islanders. There are now currently 10 players in
Bridgeport who have worn a Grizzlies uniform this year. 14 total
players have been on both the Utah and Sound Tigers roster.
Dwyer played six games with the Sound Tigers from January 31 -
February 29. With Utah, the Connecticut native, leaves with three
goals and 12 assists in 48 games.
The Grizzlies open a five-game road trip Friday in Las Vegas.
Face-off is scheduled for 8:05 p.m.
